"The Art of Birth Workshop" is an immersion course for women and birth workers interested in deepening their knowledge and understanding of diverse processes surrounding birth, from the use of Mexican rebozo, to other practical, intuitive and spiritual approaches to birth.
The art of accompanying birth is profoundly dependent on our understanding of our own sexuality, conception, a child’s life experience and the female perspective on all levels. Participants will be able to return to their birth practices possibly more enriched, nurtured and with new skills to apply.
This workshop is recommended for midwives, nurses, doctors, doulas, therapists, mothers/mothers-to-be and any feminine soul interested in deepening their understanding on these topics.

I have been teaching THE ART OF BIRTH workshop to thousands of women, including midwives, doulas, nurses, obstetricians, pediatricians and therapists for over 25 years. I created this workshop to combine the scientific understanding of the physiology of birth with ancient midwifery practices and the intuitive, creative wisdom of the feminine spirit. My joy is to support birth practitioners and all women to come into their full potential as powerful, connected, and effective people in their practices and intimate life.
In my over 35 years as a midwife accompanying over 1700 home births, my own artistic and creative expression has dramatically stretched and expanded as I have in my practice, needed to overcome challenges in many diverse and extraordinary birth situations. My creativity and experience brought me to expand upon Traditional Mexican REBOZO practices, incorporating the old and the new REBOZO techniques together, and coming up with new ones of my own, which have come to be known as Naoli's Original Rebozo techniques over my years of teaching (see inventor/creator tab under the home page).
In 1992 I created an artistic technique called NATURAL ULTRASOUND. This came out of the empathic understanding that the rural women I served had no access to modern medical care, including ultrasound.
This technique provided a beautiful emotional connection between the parents, their children and the unborn child still in utero. After creating and teaching the Natural Ultrasound all over the world for over 25 years, I am honored to notice that other people in the birth world have incorporated my technique in their work.
Being a Mexican traditional Midwife and also a NARM Certified Professional Midwife, I am passionate about celebrating and growing with all of us together in THE ART OF BIRTH.
